Kid Rock - Kid Rock Hospitalised Before Uk Performance

US rockstar Kid Rock was taken to hospital shortly before his scheduled appearance at the Download festival in the UK.

The singer's poor health forced him to cancel his performance minutes before going on stage. His spokesman told NME magazine that he had been suffering from cramps and dehydration thus requiring treatment.

The former husband of Pamela Anderson is currently promoting his new single All Summer Long in the UK. During an interview with the Guardian the Cowboy star revealed how he was coping with the headlines of the previous year.

Asked about the fight between him and Anderson's first spouse Tommy Lee at the MTV video music awards, he told the paper that there was no longer any animosity between the two.

"We're friends. We don't talk all the time but everything's good," he said.

The rocker also spoke about his rocky relationship with the Baywatch star, saying that he was afraid that the tabloid coverage would overshadow his music career.

Kid Rock added that he was not a fan of the party circuit, which his former wife is frequently photographed on, and stated that he would rather use his talents to make good music than be a "tabloid freak".

Spears still not allowed to visit sons

Pop singer Britney Spears has failed to regain access to her two young sons following a closed-door court hearing.
Spears, who was recently admitted to hospital for psychiatric evaluation, was barred from visiting her sons last January after she refused to hand the children back to their father Kevin Federline, who currently has primary custody of the boys.
Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Alan Parachini told reporters after yesterday's hearing that there had been no change in the orders handed out by the family judge who last month stripped Spears of her visitation rights.
The court denied a motion by Spears' lawyer to issue a gag order to keep attorneys from talking to the media.

Hulk Hogan Holds Back Tears On Live TV

Hulk Hogan almost broke down in tears in a live TV interview last night as he explained the horrors his fragile son Nick Bollea has been facing in jail.

The former wrestler's son is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence at Florida's Pinellas County Jail, after pleading no contest to a felony of reckless driving following a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida which has left his friend John Graziano brain damaged.

The teenager has been rocked by a series of personal setbacks, including spending his first few weeks in solitary confinement and recordings of his private phone calls to his parents being leaked to the media.

And during an emotional appearance on U.S. chatshow Larry King Live, Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, admitted he is seriously worried about his son.

He tells King: "It was like the whole world (was) crashing down on my son. Solitary confinement - most hardened criminals unravel after two or three days. Nick survived in there 28-29 days.

"I did everything I could to laugh, to cry with my son. I was trying to help (to) give Nick some type of relief because he (was) consumed with the unknown."

And Bollea insists the leaked telephone conversations may have tipped Nick over the edge.

He adds: "This was the only thing Nick had left. This is the privacy everybody had in prison… and to have that taken away? I was more worried than ever about his mental state unraveling."

Nick’s mother Linda seems to be dealing with the whole ordeal pretty well.

Chicago - Movie Reviews You Dont Mess With The Zohan

Roger Ebert in the Chicago Sun-Times
calls the new Adam Sandler comedy You Don't Mess With the Zohan
"shameless in its eagerness to extract laughs from every possible breach of
taste or decorum." Nevertheless, Ebert suggests, Sandler succeeds in doing just
that. "This is a mighty hymn of and to vulgarity, and either you enjoy it, or
you don't. I found myself enjoying it a surprising amount of the time, even
though I was thoroughly ashamed of myself." A.O. Scott in the New York Times
also agrees that "a lot of the crude bodily-function jokes are actually
pretty funny." Rafer Guzmán's take on the film in Newsday:
"Crude, idiotic, ridiculous - in other words, flat-out hilarious, and Sandler's
funniest film in years." But Mark Olsen in the Los Angeles Times
suggests that such an assessment is far too generous. "If this was to be
unapologetically funny, likable in an un-ironic, non-guilty-pleasure way," he
writes, "You Don't Mess With the Zohan falls short. As a cutting comedic
satire about the Arab-Israeli conflict and stereotypes, it misses more than it
hits. As another run-of-the-mill Sandler movie, it is better than most." And
Carrie Rickey in the Philadelphia Inquirer assesses it this way: "An
amiable mess."

GOLDIE HAWN and KURT RUSSELL are spending their summer on a romantic tour of Europe.

The pair, unmarried partners for 26 years, are currently sunbathing in the Greek islands and keeping Hawn's daughter Kate Hudson up-to-date with their travels by sending her regular email postcards.

Hudson reveals, "My mom and my dad are in Greece at the moment. They are being two little lovebirds all over Europe. They did a cooking class, then a bike trip. They're so cute. They are sending pictures of them eating fruit and in the water."
